Every year around this time is installed in the Plaza Mayor of Madrid the traditional Christmas market, flea market can be considered a descendant of the one reported by Traditionalist writers and had other features consistent with the past.

In this there is room for lots of stalls selling all kinds of objects related to Easter. From the figures and ornaments of Births, increasingly elaborate, through the famous jokes and getting to the musical instruments of Christmas. Within the latter group highlight zambombas clay and other materials and tambourines and frame drums such as the following photos.

These dates represent in several of the people of Madrid, the traditional Nativity play. Dances, as its name suggests, the pastors performed in honor of baby Jesus, offering a lamb. The celebration is accompanied by music played on percussion instruments typical of Christmas in this region: zambombas, tambourine, huesera, tambourines, etc.
Rascafría were older than those who taught, among others, the International Cultural La Trocha the sounds and movements of dance. The village children are in charge of dance within the church. To highlight the effort and dedication of the sisters Miñambres, Charo and Mari, maintenance and recovery popular culture from this area of \u200b\u200bthe Sierra de Madrid.

On Saturday December 16 A'ballare music band specializes in recreating the music of Castilian and Mediterranean origins, offered a concert in the crypt of the Church of Santa Maria de Cana in the Madrid suburb of Pozuelo de Alarcón. The performance was for the benefit of adiposity, (Association Pozuelo disabled).
A'ballare, group of wide experience, (two albums released and about 20 years old) and based in the town of Pozuelo, knew more than raise a smile and a deep sense of thanks to the attendants, who did not miss the opportunity to ask several repetitions of themes in the repertoire of this long training.

Throughout the month of December 2006 has been developed in La Cabrera a series of activities related to traditional music. Luis Angel Payne, luthier and an expert in this world by giving a lecture on the Bagpipe of the Sierra de Madrid, (precisamante here, where he was discovered and studied by Prof. García Matos), and exposed some of their instruments. He also led a workshop for the construction of popular musical instruments. All within the Regional Centre of Humanities Cardinal Gonzaga in the town.
Also offered, with Juan Sanchez, a beautiful concert at the Convent of San Antonio, on the morning of Sunday 3. Then some of the photographs.
